Goodwill®’s GoodGuides® Mentoring is an exciting and innovative program that strives to empower youth to make positive choices through structured and supportive relationships with trusted adult mentors. GoodGuides supports youth ages 12-17, through career planning, school completion, and post-secondary education who would benefit from a positive mentoring experience.
GoodGuides recruits, trains and supports volunteer mentors to engage youth in exploring career goals and building life skills through a mentoring relationship. You don’t need special skills or super powers to be a great mentor; you will make a difference just by being yourself!
- Mentoring isn't a large time commitment--We ask that our mentors commit to one full year of 6 hours per month with their mentee.
- Mentoring is simple--All you need to do is be yourself, be open, and be willing to share your experiences with a deserving youth.
- Mentoring is Goodwill--Mentoring is a great way to give back and connect to your community while feeling great about yourself by helping someone discover him/her self.
You can choose to mentor either one-on-one or in a group setting. You can also mentor with a friend! To learn more about our program or download an application, please follow this link: http://www.goodwillsouthernaz.org/programs-and-services/goodguides-youth-mentoring/
