The mission of ALOHA is to provide a support system for individuals with acquired deafness and/or hearing loss and their families ensuring their participation in the mainstream of life. The needs of people with acquired deafness and hearing loss will guide us in everything we do.
ALOHA holds support group sessions at the main office and in other places in the Tucson, Green Valley and Sierra Vista areas.
Demonstrations of assistive products for hearing, alerting, telephone and captioned phone are given by appointment.
Classes in speech reading and sign language are held spring and fall, for low fee.
Mentoring is offered during office hours.
Cochlear implant information and support is offered.
Most of the services are cost-free. Membership is available to receive newsletters and other information.
